Wolf Haven International

Several TPS members including Debbie Klosowski, Tedd Wilkinson, Bruce Carpenter, Bruce Benson, and Dianna Stockdale (guest) recently visited Wolf Haven on a private tour to explore the meadow and visit the wolf sanctuary to see several types of wolves. 

Although some wolves were a bit shy, others were curious and came a bit closer to check us out!  It was a bit of a challenge shooting through the fence but we all came away with acceptable shots!  A definite highlight was hearing all of the wolves howl in response to a train going by! 

We also enjoyed walking through the meadow and seeing the enormous "Grandfather Tree."  Hopefully we can return in the Spring when additional flowers are in bloom.  Last but not least, it was really fun hanging out with other TPS members and sharing a few tips. ~ Debbie Klosowski
