Van Lierop Park Wildflowers

Last year about this time, Van Lierop Park was a stunning field of blue lupines and other wildflowers.

Liddy and I enjoy a walk around the park frequently as it is less than 5 minutes from home.

We are inviting you to join us around 7:00am, Sunday, May 16th, 23rd, and 30th (weather permitting). We will be shooting the Thrushes, the Lupines, and anything else that looks interesting.

The park is on 8th Ave SE in Puyallup. The map/gallery below shows the location and a couple of my photos from last year.

Mapbox hasn’t updated their arial imagery lately 😏.

Here is the address to Farm 12, which is right beside the park. (good food too)

  1. Hi Dave: I plan on making one of the shoots (weather dependent). I would like to have the mountain backdrop visible. If I walk to the top of my driveway and can see Mt Rainier, I will jump in the car and come over on one of those dates. Thanks, Bud
