2020 Spring Fair Photo Contest Cancelled

At this time the TPS Board of Directors has decided to suspend the TPS sponsored Photo Salon and competition at the Spring Fair.

If the Spring Fair is moved to a later date this year, we will consider reopening the competition. Otherwise, we look forward to returning next year and seeing all the great photos.

Thank you for your support and please stay safe and stay healthy.

Background

Fall Fair

The Washington State Fair hosts two fairs every year: The Fair, which runs from Labor Day through most of the month of September, and The Spring Fair, which runs for 4 days in April. The Fair, in September, presents a large photo salon with two competitions, The Northwest International Exhibition of Photography, and the Cascadia Photographers Exhibition.

Spring Fair

Tacoma Photographic Society has managed The Spring Fair Photo Salon for over ten years now. We like to think it is a much more relaxed affair. For one thing, all family-friendly entries will be accepted and displayed. All images that place and major category winners receive cash prizes and all awarded entries will receive a ribbon.
